Caring for people living with frailty, in the health or social care sector is influenced by multiple complex factors and demands skilled assessment and management. Building on your existing knowledge from clinical practice, this course is designed to help you develop a solid understanding of best practice in the assessment and management of frail adults.

This course is for practitioners who are currently working with frail adults in an assessment or caring capacity. It aims to deepen your understanding of the physical and psychological impact of frailty on a person鈥檚 health and wellbeing.
We鈥檒l guide you to explore and evaluate evidence-based methods for detecting frailty and encourage you to consider appropriate theoretical principles as part of your decision making process. Examining the theories surrounding frailty can help you understand the causes of frailty and the long term impact frailty has on health and social care outcomes. We鈥檒l also support you to develop skills in frailty assessment and care鈥恜lanning for patients living with frailty.

This course offers academic progression in the specialist field of adult frailty and end of life care.
Important note regarding tuition fees for the 2023-2024 academic year: EU nationals who meet residency requirements (have settled or pre-settled status) may be eligible for '直播做爱' fee status. If you do not meet these residency requirements, overseas fees will apply. Irish citizens living in the UK or Ireland will be eligible for '直播做爱' fee status under the Common Travel Area arrangement. The fees for a student's course of study will be set for the normal duration of that course subject only to inflationary increases – measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) recorded in March each year to take effect for subsequent start dates.

We aim to deliver effective learning and teaching that is relevant to you both as a student and an individual working in practice. Using a number of strategies, including classroom work and interactive learning activities, we hope to stimulate debate and discussion that help you master the core concepts. In addition, we鈥檒l focus on your individual needs by offering scheduled tutorial support where you receive personalised advice and guidance.
E-learning is also available through our virtual learning environment (Moodle) so you can complete further study when or where it鈥檚 convenient to you.
