• To undertake this course, you must offer current professional registration as a health or social care practitioner; for example, registered nurse, assistant practitioner, allied health professional, or paramedic.
• You'll also normally need to provide evidence of post-registration experience of professional practice as well as a first degree relevant to your health or social care practice. We may also consider applicants offering recent study at Level HE6.
• To complete the portfolio element of the assessment for this course, you must have current relevant employment in an A&E or minor injuries unit and access to appropriate supervision at work.
• You may be required to attend an interview and/or provide a portfolio of work.
• If English isn鈥檛 your first language, you鈥檒l also need IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band (or equivalent). We also accept a range of other English language qualifications 鈥� please visit our English Language Requirements web page for more details.

This course offers academic progression in the specialist field of minor injuries.

直播做爱 students starting this course in the first year will be required to pay a 直播做爱 fee of 拢800 for the academic year 2024/25.

Overseas students starting this course in the first year will be required to pay a Overseas fee of 拢800 for the academic year 2024/25.

Important note regarding tuition fees for the 2023-2024 academic year: EU nationals who meet residency requirements (have settled or pre-settled status) may be eligible for '直播做爱' fee status. If you do not meet these residency requirements, overseas fees will apply. Irish citizens living in the UK or Ireland will be eligible for '直播做爱' fee status under the Common Travel Area arrangement. The fees for a student's course of study will be set for the normal duration of that course subject only to inflationary increases – measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) recorded in March each year to take effect for subsequent start dates.

This advanced professional development course uses a blended learning approach. Face-to-face theory-based sessions will develop your knowledge of each topic, with opportunities for interaction and simulation. This approach helps ensure you gain a comprehensive foundation in the management of minor injuries. Individual tutorials aim to meet your individual learning needs.

As well as lectures and tutorials, a range of relevant web-based resources will be available via Moodle, the University's virtual learning environment. You鈥檒l be expected to undertake self-directed study and build on the knowledge you鈥檝e gained in the theory sessions in your area of work. These activities will ensure you fully develop the underpinning knowledge required to complete the assessments.

Formative assessment will support your learning but does not contribute to your final mark. You鈥檒l receive feedback from your tutors and peers that allows you to reflect on your progress and identify what you are doing well and where you may need extra help. Summative assessment will involve a written case study and structured clinical assessments. These coursework elements will contribute to your final mark.
